Piet Botha, son of ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs "Pik Botha", not only
pursued a brilliant solo career but is also the front man for the great
South African Rock Band called "Jack Hammer". Piet Botha writes and
composes all his own songs and has opened for such international bands
as ZZ-Top. Piet's philosophy driven songs has got an almost mesmerizing
effect on the soul.Always entertaining Piet Botha's music is sincere and
from the heart. In 2006 numerous artists like Valiant Swart, Albert
Frost, Anton Goosen, Gert Vlok Nel, Not My Dog, Akkedis and Tidal Waves
did a tribute show to honor Piet.
