Starting off
his career with fellow singer Johann du Toit as the South African Duet
Cantero, people of South Africa could already see Nicholis Louw's talents
starting to evolve. Nicholis Louw later released his debut CD as a solo
artist called "My hart is aan die brand". This CD showcased numerous hits,
but one in particular stood out : "Ek wil my baby he vanaand". After
the great success of his debut CD Nicholis recorded the hit song with female
singing group "Shine 4" called "Net die een vir my" and the rest is history.
