Gert Bekker
started doing music at age five by playing songs on his mother's recorder.
In 1993 Gert joined the "Akapella" singing group "Die Holy Boys" and performed
with them in Pretoria for a couple of years. After their breakup
in 1995 Gert went solo and started doing small shows on his own.
Gert released his first CD in December 2003 and sold an access of 1300
CD's on his live shows. Today Gert is well known under all South
Africans and his lyrical ability still amazes audiences where ever he performs.
