Natal born Fanie
de Jager started studying Classical Music at age 20. Although music
was only a hobby to Fanie he still performed in numerous TRUK opera plays
during 1972 to 1985. His main caracter rolls included tenoorrolle
in Gianni Schicchi, La Traviata, Rita, Der Wildschütz, Ariadne auf
Naxos en Don Pasquale. In 1987 Fanie signed his first recording deal
and made 2 "LP" records in the following two years. In upcoming years
Fanie appeared on numerous television shows like : "Teletreffers", "Musiekforum",
"Platepraatjies", "Uit en Tuis", "Noot vir Noot" and "Maak 'n Las"
His first "CD" "My Sentimental Soul" was released in 2001.
