Growing up in a small town called Wepener, David Fourie, with the direction of his mother, started playing the piano at a young age while also developing his vocal ability. In 2001 David won a talent competition that won him some studio time to record a demo CD. After finishing in the Top 10 in the 2002 Idols competition, David signed a four album deal with Sony/BMG and recorded his first album called "Land in die Suide" |
