After almost
a year in the studio, Andre Smit’s debute album is finally here. This 27
year old Capetonian will have audiences in awe as he sings crossover-light
classics in both English and Afrikaans. The album has brand new hit singles
such as “My Hart Bly Altyd Joune” & “Sal Jy Verstaan” and a fresh
take on Classic songs such as “Aan Die Einde Van Die Reënboog”, “Lonely
Sky” and “Sweet Maria”. André Smit started with his music career
ten years ago, when he joined the Riana Van Wyk school of music. He also
did classical training with classical singer Karen James. During
this period he won numerous awards and contests such as: Reach for the
Stars, Gemini, Note Skouspel, and Stars of the future.
