Velocity is
a dynamic duo consisting of two female instrumentalists: Ilse Harold on
saxophone, flute, keyboard and bass guitar and Adri Naude-Scholtz on violin.
The duo plays a wide variety of music, ranging from light classical to
pop, blues and jazz. The group is versatile and has an extensive repertoire;
however, specific requests or styles can be incorporated if notified in
advance. Both Ilse and Adri are professional performers with a wide experience
in musical theatre, classical orchestras and working with different jazz
and pop bands. Velocity can incorporate vocalists and/or other instrumentalists
as required. Styles of music: Vanessa Mae type, classical, popular hits,
love songs, Celtic music etc. Lord of the Dance, Riverdance etc.
