CH2 has
been performing professionally for the past 7 years. Their music
has been described as soothing, rhythmic, exhilarating and fun. Genres
(styles of music) range from Classical to Spanish / Flamenco and a touch
of African rhythm. CH2’s latest album (CH2 & SSQ– Pap & Paella)
has just been released, and is in collaboration with the Soweto String
Quartet. They were also recently awarded the VONK OSKAR for the “Best
Instrumental Album in South Africa” for 2006. They are also avid composers
with compositions played on radio and used for advertisements on Television.
CH2’s music is played and broadcast on numerous radio stations including
Classic fm, RSG as well as various community stations. They regularly perform
at music festivals across Southern Africa and have been part of numerous
stage collaborations including “3 van die Bestes” (starring Mathys Roets,
Kevin Leo & Danie Niehaus), Rocco de Villiers, Karin Hougaard, Karla
du Plessis & SSQ.
