Liane Heyl shot to stardom when she stared in the hit South African TV series called "Vetkoek Paleis" as the character "Boeboe". From there she went on to become one of South Africa's, most well known singers. Liane was nominated for an Avanti award as best supporting actress in a comedy series in 1998 and in 1999 she won it!
