Her first performance
was when she was only six years old. At the age of nine she joined the
local band "the Rhythms". When she was eleven she recorded her first demo
album "Stupid Cupid". Later that year she was discovered by Chris le Roux,
and made her debut on the television program "Musiekforum". In 1992 they
signed a record deal with Decibel (EMI) and recorded her first album "Om
te jodel". Jeanette writes most of her music and is currently working on
repertoire for her new album. She has a strong Country feel in her voice.
She also does part time television work and a highlight was when she had
the privilege to work with famous actor Alan de Lon in a French film "Le
Lion". In 2006 she had the opportunity to do an entertainment course in
Las Vegas and was invited by the School of Film and television in New York
to do an acting course with them.
