This 22 year
old from Brackenfell in Cape Town has loved music loved music from her
primary school days where she was in the school orchestra and choir. At
the age of 17 Andriette did recordings for "Bokjol" and "30 Goue Sokkie
Treffers". Andriette also did the backing vocals for Wicus van der Merwe
on his album "Hier Kom n Ding". In 2007 she entered the Idols competition
and was the runner up to the winner. Andriette has just launched her debut
cd "Diamant" which has songs written by herself and artist such as
"Steve Hofmeyer", "Andre Swiegers", "Munro Du Toit", "William Loots" and
"Junior Botha".
