Craig
Mischief was born in Port Elizabeth and as far back as he can remember
he took part in every variety show and talent contest that came his way.
At School he took music as a subject and after leaving school, packed his
bags and left for Johannesburg to fulfil his dream of becoming a professional
entertainer. Initially a three-piece comedy band called “WHITE MISCHIEF”
was formed, with Craig as the front man. After a very successful run in
Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth, Craig decided about nine years ago that
a solo career as a stand-up comedian was the ultimate dream. One of his
proudest moments, was being part of a fundraiser for 13 year old heart-transplant
patient Candice Krummek, who has since had a successful operation and is
enjoying life in London, and has much to thank Craig for. His largest audience
to date was at the Port Elizabeth Splash Festival where Craig performed
successfully before a baying capacity crowd of 75 000 in 1997.
