Roots Of Youth started off in 2002 under the name 'Buckle Up' playing gigs in the Pretoria area. After winning R 100 000 at the Doritos Be Heard competition in 2010 Roots Of Youth was signed by record label SONY/BMG. In 2011 a thirteen episode TV Series, called Roots of Youth was conceptualised featuring the band members in the cast. |
