Gas was formed
by Stefan and Andre in 1998. Their first CD consisted of 15 Afrikaans tracks
and was called "pV=nrt". Although the CD was never released commercially
it was taken under JNS's wings and featured on the compilation "Renaissance".
Gas specifically writes original material which includes lyrics and music.
They take great pride in their sound, thus not irritating their audience
with harsh sounds but rather focussing on more melodic value which brings
out a natural emotion in their music. Their song "Fine vanaand" is
regularly been played on Radio RSG as well as other Gauteng radio stations.
