Frosted Orange
describe their music as Voodo Blues, "It's not realy true Chicago style
blues because we put too many of our own ideas into the show, " says
vocalist and keyboard player Simon Orange, "I mean, one minute Albert's
playing a solo acoustic 12-bar and the next minute we kick into a reggae
style groove." The band consists of Albert Frost on vocals a nd guitar,
Jaques Skutter on drums and Simon Orange. They've been together for four
years but Simon and Albert first met in the band The Blues Broers, a band
they still play for today. Other projects on the go include playing in
the Valiant Swart Band as well as frequent guest spots with other
local musicians.
